Security Technologies Holding changed its name to SIBER
Under the protection of the Company there are more than 260 facilities of the Rostec State Corporation
By resolution of the Rostec State Corporation, the official name of the managing company of the Security Technologies Holding was changed to SIBER.
Security Technologies Holding changed its name and got a full right to use it, having completed the registration procedure in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (EGRUL). Changes were made in compliance with Article 54 of the Civil Code of the RF. Thus, the Holding will use this name in the official documents; the seal and letterhead of the Company have been changed. The full name is defined as the SIBER Joint Stock Company; the abbreviated name, SIBER JSC. Other details remained unchanged, the Holding's press release stated
«Change of the name will significantly increase recognizability of the Holding not only in Russia, but also at the international markets, where SIBER is actively cooperating with the leading companies in the field of security,» said Vladimir Kapysh, General Director of the Holding.
The main goal of the Holding is formation of a unified, integrated and advanced security system of the State Corporation that meets the requirements of high reliability and economic efficiency, with a transparent financial and organizational structure.
SIBER Holding accomplishes physical security and fire protection, ensures counter-terrorist security of strategic, defense and industrial facilities, designs, implements, modernizes and maintains the engineering and technical security and fire safety equipment. The range of services offered by the Holding includes armed escorting of valuable and dangerous goods, weapons and military products as well as classified correspondence.
As of the beginning of 2016, SIBER provided security services to more than 260 entities of the Rostec State Corporation in Russia: from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok. The number of SIBER employees is over 11,000.
